There are many signs that indicate that Jesus is returning very soon. In Matthew 24:3-28 Jesus answers the disciples' question about what shall be the sign of His return, and of the end of the world. Jesus replied with a bunch of things to look for and when we see these signs we should be expecting His soon return. Also Jesus said in Mathew 24:34 that the generation that is witnessing these signs shall not pass until His second coming. It has been said that the rebirth of Israel in 1948 was the beginning of the final generation. Some of the signs indicating the return of Christ are: the appearance of many false Christs; wars and rumours of wars; nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places; God's people shall be hated for doing the will of God; many shall be offended and shall betray one another and hate one another; there will be many false prophets deceiving many; the love of many shall become cold; there will be a great increase in travel and knowledge and a great increase in wickedness. Also there is a great falling away from the faith that is happening before Jesus returns. Many people who used to call themselves believers are abandoning the faith. Also many believers have become lukewarm. It is clear that things are getting worse before Jesus Christ makes His triumphant return. His second coming is rapidly approaching.
